Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

How come PJC have such great access to care, same day appointment available every day? Is it because the doctor is not as popular or as good as other doctors whose patients have to wait 2 to 3 months to get in?

Not at all. The opposite is true: Our doctor is extremely efficient and competent at her job that she addressed ALL her patients' problems after 1 to 2 visits that would have taken other doctors months to years to address; additionally, she takes such wonderful care of them that they became healthy, get sick less often, thus requiring less # of visits and freed up her schedule while high patients' satisfaction; last but not least, she joined this clinic with our philosophy to make a difference in the world and help as many people as we can to have quality and substance in their medical care at greatly discounted fees, thus she will NOT purposely drag out your disease to earn money, and will NOT cut you off after 7 minutes like traditional clinics' providers often do. She also reserved 3 appointment slots daily in her clinic schedule for new patient visits or sick/acute visits, while taking care of everything on the fly between patients. Last but not least, our patient-panel size is 1/3 to 1/5 of traditional clinics to ensure availability and attentiveness to our beloved patients.

Patients whom Dr. Stephens came across when she was working at other places repeatedly reported that "Dr. Stephens has done more for me in 1 visit than the last 5 years of going to other doctors round and round in circles!" or that "Dr. Stephens has cured me of my diseases instead of dragging it out like other providers" or "She is amazing and is the best doctor I've found all my life and i'm 90+ year old and complicated" or "Other doctors can't handle me and they sent me to you, and I'm glad I found you. I won't ever leave you unless I can't afford you" or "You're the most caring and competent doctor among my numerous past doctors encounters. Back then, I'd have many questions unanswered after my provider's visits, but with you, I ran out of questions to ask and found all your answers very helpful and easy to understand. Thank you for saving me a lot of money and time." or "Others can't figure out what's wrong with me and you're the only one who listens carefully and worked me up and helped diagnose me [pt said in tears]"

One elderly patient who had huge mistrust in the medical system told his hospitalists straight out "I don't trust any doctor except Dr. Stephens, please call my doctor before you do something to me; in case you guys are trying to kill me"--this hospitalist has asked Dr. Stephens to join her team but Dr. Stephens is currently only interested in outpatient settings.

How much do I pay per visit?

Your monthly fee covers all your office visit fees (does NOT cover for labs or radiologies or specialist's visits). There is no copay, and we do NOT report visits to your insurance unless you want us to for referrals' approvals. You will not be charged extra fees for extra visits to our clinic.

I don't know if I want to subscribe monthly yet, can I still be a patient until I decide?

YES! We have nonsubscribers "pay-per-visit" rate under Pricing. Just let us know whenever you change your mind to become subscriber.
